Is ***** Sporting Goods a good place to buy a mountain bike?
Better entry level bike: Trek 4300 or Specialized Hardrock Sport?
I've been doing a lot of research in order to buy my first mountain bike, and I think I've narrowed it down to two choices: the Trek 4300 or Specialized Hardrock Sport. I'm just looking for a quality entry level bike - I don't plan on taking 10' jumps, or doing any sort of racing. Does anyone have any suggestions? I liked the burnt orange color of the Trek better (I know, stupid reason to buy a bike) and it's slightly cheaper, but the shop which has the Specialized said I'd get free lifetime tune-ups - even as often as once a month, and that shop seems overall a bit more friendly.... so I'm torn. The free lifetime tune-ups sound like they'd save significant money. I've seen other shops offer free tune-ups, but this place actually encouraged me to bring it in as often as I wanted.... So - any advice? Thanks!
You already asked a similar question. If you are able to top the 4300 or Hardock let me know. Its almos imposible to find a better deal unless you are willing to spend more $.
